Akasa Air to allow pet dog or cat to fly from November 1! Know the details
By Akasa Air – You can fly with a pet dog or a cat. The recently launched new airline, Akasa Air, will start operations on November 1, From 15th October 2022, bookings for pet dog or cat will commence.
One person can travel on board with a pet dog or cat in a cage weighing up to 7 kgs, “said Belson Kautinho, co-founder and chief marketing and experience officer of Akasa Air.”.
Akasa Air is working with a non-governmental organization, Ummed for animals foundation, to transport these pets, SpiceJet and Vistara are also allowed to carry pets but IndiGo and AirAsia India do not have this facility.
From October 7, 2022, the first flight from Delhi to Bengaluru will operate with 300 flights per week by the end of October.
